Guidance and education

Every step of the way through your weight loss journey you will be guided and educated with good nutrition and weight loss tips.  If you come across any stumbling blocks, your personal trainer will be happy to answer questions and together plan a way around them.

Strength training and cardio

Learn to Love Fitness incorporates both strength training and cardio into workout sessions, using basic equipment.  Intensity of these sessions will depend on your level of fitness.  If you have an injury/health issues or are pregnant please let your personal trainer know, as you will need to check with your doctor first before continuing to exercise.

Accountability and motivation

Accountability is a very important key to losing weight.  It is most important to be honest with yourself and set realistic goals.  It is okay to slip up occasionally, forgive yourself and move on.  Sharing your journey with others can help motivate you and keep you on track.  Join the online group that share their struggles with weight loss and their success.  Gain information from others who are also taking up the challenge of losing those unwanted kilos.  You may also email your personal trainer in between training sessions for extra support and motivation. 

Track your progress

Once a month your weight and measurements will be taken and recorded on a chart. This way you can visibly see your progress and hard work on paper.  Don’t forget to start a food diary, this will help to keep you on track with your eating habits – remember be honest with yourself, every bit counts!  If you are having trouble with your healthy eating, please bring your food diary to your training session and your personal trainer can give you suggestions to help improve your diet.
